Transform

While I worked in book publishing, I saw books at their worst and their best. Overindulgent prose, screenshots for illustrations, hastily constructed tables, heading after heading that wandered too far off course. And then the finished product: beautiful covers, kicky design elements, and sensible use of white space—all mixed in with carefully crafted and polished content.

I will take on my tasks with confidence, overseeing the rehab (not reconstruction) of a fledgling idea OR refreshing one that has been around the block several times with multiple editions—shoring up the expository writing, updating terms and illustrations, ensuring additional chapters with new information conform to the book’s unique style and voice.

In other words … I love the pilgrim soul of your project, whatever it may be. Whether we collaborate on content or I simply edit what you hand me, my corrections, deletions, additions, suggestions, and attention to detail will pull your book through any growing pains and turn it into the finely polished item it was always meant to be.
